2024 Day 119 – 1 Chronicles 7-10
Saul lacked true faith in God and that led to his demise. “So Saul died for his unfaithfulness which he had committed against the LORD, because he did not keep the word of the LORD, and also because he consulted a medium for guidance.” (1 Chronicles 10:13 NKJV) Jeremiah tells us that if we do have true faith in God, we will be able to withstand any trial that comes our way. “Blessed is the man who trusts in the LORD, And whose hope is the LORD. For he shall be like a tree planted by the waters, Which spreads out its roots by the river, And will not fear when heat comes; But its leaf will be green, And will not be anxious in the year of drought, Nor will cease from yielding fruit.” (Jeremiah 17:7-8 NKJV)
