In this section of scripture we read of the visions that Daniel received.  Daniel also received interpretations of these visions.  These were prophecies that came true exactly as they were told.  Only God has this kind of power and His power was shown in the kingdom that was described to Daniel.  “I saw in the night-visions, and, behold, there came with the clouds of heaven one like unto a son of man, and he came even to the ancient of days, and they brought him near before him. And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a kingdom, that all the peoples, nations, and languages should serve him: his dominion is an everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom that which shall not be destroyed.” (Daniel 7:13-14)  We have opportunity to be part of this kingdom that was described to Daniel.  It is the kingdom that Christ purchased with His blood.  “knowing that ye were redeemed, not with corruptible things, with silver or gold, from your vain manner of life handed down from your fathers; but with precious blood, as of a lamb without spot, even the blood of Christ:” (1 Peter 1:18-19)
