2024 Day 278 – Matthew 4; Luke 4-5
When the devil tempted Jesus to turn stones into bread, even though he hadn’t eaten for forty days Christ responded that physical nourishment was not everything. “But he answered, ‘It is written, “‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that comes from the mouth of God.’” (Matthew 4:4 ESV) It is up to us to feed our souls a complete supply of God’s Word through daily spiritual nourishment.
