2024 Day 348 – Acts 27-28
Even though their ship was being struck by a terrible storm, Paul assured everyone on the ship that they would survive because God had promised. “So take heart, men, for I have faith in God that it will be exactly as I have been told.” (Acts 27:25) God is always in control and if we are following Him we can know that He will take care of us. “And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” (Romans 8:28) If we are following Him we also can live without fear. “What then shall we say to these things? If God is for us, who can be against us?” (Romans 8:31) But that does not mean our life will be free of troubles. Peter tells us how to respond to those troubles. “Yet if anyone suffers as a Christian, let him not be ashamed, but let him glorify God in this matter.” (1 Peter 4:16)
